Walking from Cefn *Manmoel to the Domen Fawr the defensive hedge dating back to the Dark Ages is evident, (ninth or tenth century). The ridge and furrow fields dating back to the 18th or 19th century are also visible, along with the burial cairns from the Bronze Age on top of the Domen Fawr.
